I would like to share this very simple concept I learned from one of my mentors in the financial industry. Mind you, this mentor has personally proven this concept successful for more than ten years. It changed his life big time and so did others’ lives worldwide. You can tell by how it helped him move up from being an employee to a CEO, build 300 marketing directors nationwide, take his family on occasional vacation cruise, and drive his own sleek, black Toyota Camry. Now, that’s the way to go!

PraiseMoves: a balanced workout program
In 2008, I learned about a workout program specifically created to cater to all components of fitness. It is called PraiseMoves. It was created by an American fitness professional named Laurette Willis who left behind a 25-year long yoga practice in 2001 to create a fun, Christ-centered alternative to yoga. This is probably one of the best programs I’ve seen which strives to balance flexibility, strength, endurance and relaxation. It even covers all fitness levels!

Components of an Optimum Fitness Program
I used to think that treadmills and weights were enough for one to be physically fit. That was when I still frequented the gym, concentrating more on my cardio and strengthening exercises. It was not long ago when I realized that I was missing out on a few important things. The truth is, when we talk about optimum fitness, we should not only consider the following areas:

Are you a catsup lover?
You can call my husband “The Catsup King.” He consumes a bottle of catsup in just a few days. He cannot do without it with anything fried, grilled, or simply dry food. But what does it have really that makes it appealing?

Rome : My favorite city
Rome would always have a special place in my heart. It is the city where you will find history at every street corner. I can still remember when I went there in 2006...
The Value of Self-Learning
Last year, I enrolled in Basic Fitness Instructor’s Course conducted by Fitphil (Fitness Network of the Philippines). It was a challenging experience to learn about scientific stuff like anatomy, exercise physiology, kinesiology, nutrition, exercise programming, etc. etc. etc. – things alien for a European Languages major like me. For one, I had to memorize the skeletal and muscular parts of the human body.

My best friend in Paris
Walking can be hell. And Paris is a city where you are meant to walk.
I remember that in 2005, during my first trip to Paris, my mother "forced" me to bring my rubber shoes. Thank God! Otherwise, something might have died while I was in Paris. My feet.
